i am enjoying and bennefting from a ORGANIC, mostly raw vegan diet and i am very intrested to come to India. how possible is this? i hear there are lots of pesticides and things like this.

Thu, February 5, 2009 - 9:45 PMummm...i think it will be really hard. I mean you could do it but don't expect it in restaurants. Also probably not very safe due to constant power cuts (lack of refrigeration) and hight emps.
It would actually be healthier not to attempt raw while there. And organic is possible in some big cities (like Delhi) but not on the road. -

It sorta sounds like taking an iPod to the Boston Symphony orchestra in case they play something you don't dig... But really, unless its for medical reasons and you MUST be on a certain diet, I would just go with the flow. if continuing a raw, organic, etc diet is your purpose, it may be easier to stay in your home country;-) India is a gastronomical fantasy land, live it up! -
