Hello
Recently i started using water instead of toilet paper to clean myself after using the bathroom. i use a little toilet paper at the end to dry myself. how do indians(and others) do this without toilet paper? do they use soap?
Thank You

Re: Bathroom Techniques
Tue, February 17, 2009 - 9:13 PMThere is always the tantric technique called stoolasana passed down by select yogis, particularly those who worship the holy fire, where one uses an ancient method of merging with the fire element to generate inner heat to dry the newly washed area. This way, possisbility of contamination is reduced to a minimum. Tibentan monks have a similar practice but used for drying wet towels.
Given that you are still using some modern conveniences such as computer and electricity, i'm sure a blow dryer might work too.
